Page 3 of 365 – Unreliable Narrator

My husband is now an unreliable narrator of his own story. It’s not his fault at all considering the circumstances. Brain injuries or in my husband’s case recovering from brain surgery is such a strange and winding process.

An unreliable narrator is a narrator whose credibility is compromised.

The amount of information thrown at a cancer patient and their family is insane. That coupled with the emotional toll the disease takes on those people it’s realistic to think that most people would be confused by the terms and medications and ever changing landscape of their lives.

In my day to day life I’m an Executive Administrative Assistant. I have six active clients, but I swear the day to day workings of my husbands condition is more taxing snd complicated than the six clients I work with.

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
