  • 365momme.com — Last year I wrote a few posts about technology you can use at home. Including some apps with read to me abilities.
  • 1in5.LearningAlly.org
  • Dyslexia.Yale.Edu
    • Dragon Naturally Speaking — Dragon is a speech-recognition program that can be used to, among other things, dictate answers to homework questions, a five paragraph essay, or even to write a novel.
    • LiveScribe SmartPen — This device captures writing and records audio.
    • Phonics Genius (App) – App that helps kids learn phonics. Phonics Genius is an easy way for children to learn to recognize, read, and speak words through letter sounds. The app contains over 6,000 words, grouped by phonics, in addition to the fun games for practice.

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
