Family Mission Statement

A family mission statement encapsulates your idea of the good life and lays out your family’s purpose, goals, and standards. All members of the family have a hand in articulating these values and all agree to live them.

With my 365 podcasts a year project going full blast I’ve collected a few good ones. As part of my my education goals for 2021 I want to learn more through books and podcasts.

Last year I caught a podcast on the subject of family mission statements. I was going to restate my mission statement for this blog but clearly a personal one would be so much more impactful.

To learn more about them enjoy the following podcasts:

Did these podcasts spark your creativity when it comes to making a personal or family mission statement? I hope they gave you something to mull over.

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
