My inventory probably isn’t as up to date as it could be

Crocheting has been a hobby of mine for over 10 years. It all started when I was pregnant with my daughter. I suddenly, in true Enneagram Type 5 style, needed to learn crochet after years of failed attempts.

I took to the internet and found The Crochet Crowd (actually before it became world famous). The person who runs the group films demos on how to crochet certain projects. After watching his YouTube videos, I caught on and have spent the last ten years off and on obsessed with the yarn art.

My first big project was a twin sized blanket for my daughter. It was a great project in spring time colors. She still has it and while its not an every day blanket for her, every time I think I should put it away in the closet to save for later she pulls it out and starts to cuddle with it.

I later made a similar project for my son, who spent last night wrapped in it.

At one point I had a well polished Etsy shop. It’s currently still available, but my inventory probably isn’t as up to date as it could be.

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
