I recently became a part of a new friend group and the one thing they all have in common and yet all seem to clash over is their emotions.
At the first meeting we had there were words exchanged and despite my own ability to be a hothead I found myself extremely calm about the scene before me.
As the voice of reason in the situation I gave each party their time to vent and then after that they patented ways for the time being.
Being passionate about things is one thing, but being confrontational in your approach to other people gets you nowhere.
A few days later there was another passionate exchange and I had to refer to a quote I found online:
