Life Lessons

I was prompted recently on one of my journaling research trips to write down life lessons for my kids or write down life lessons that I learned from my mom. While I know I’ve learned a lot from my mom and I’ve learned a lot that I want to pass onto my kids, it seems like all those good ideas fall to the wayside because I don’;t write them down.

So I challenge you to write down one thing you learned each week during 2021. It might seem like a daunting task, but a simple habit of writing things down on a Friday or a Sunday (depending on when you consider the end of the week to be) could help you not miss out on all those things you really should be remembering!

Step 1:

Use the code 52LIFELESSONS at my Etsy shop SketchpadsbyPatty to download a free copy of the pdf/goodnotes/notability digital notebook.

Step 2:

Get yourself a reminder for the end of your week to review what happened.

Step 3:

Write down one thing you learned this week every week for the next 52 weeks.

Step 3:

Keep this as a reminder for yourself or share it with family and friends. You never know when a lesson you learned might come in handy to another person in your life.

Enjoy! Keep a look out for my life lessons on this blog and share something with me in the comments.

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
