The conversation that would pass between the three of them would keep me entertained for hours

I think if I got to sit down with a celebrity mom and interview her I’d want to sit with someone like Reece Whitherspoon, Mayim Chaya Bialik, or Danica McKellar.

Not only are these three celebrities that I’ve grown up with over the years, but all three women are extremely educated in their given fields.

Reece Whitherspoon strikes me as the type of woman who has an old soul. Despite being the least book-educated person on my list, her persuits in the entertainment industry and beyond lead me to admire her and be interested in what opinions she might have. Any woman that can go from dramatic to comedic roles back and forth throughout her career and not lose her fanbase must know something that we all might benefit from. I recently listened to her audiobook Whiskey in a Teacup. It was an amazing mixture of southern advice and comedy that gave me the feeling that she’s a pretty humble type of person who likes to make fun of herself to put you at ease.

Mayim Bialik, who I loved originally in the movie Beaches and then in Blossom and also Big Bang Theory earned a BS in neuroscience from UCLA and went onto get a doctorate in neuroscience. She’s a published author on subjects that range from neuroscience to feminism with a little cook book in the middle for vegan eaters. With a background like that I’m sure the conversation would be extremely interesting.

Danica McKeller (Winne on the Wonder Years ) was a mathematics major and graduated around the same time that I did from college, summa cum laude. She has a theorem named after her and some other people. I’d love to be able to explain it, but of course that’s one of the reasons why I’d want to interview her. She went onto author Math books for middle school and high school kids and took her celebrity and made it into something good for the general public.

Since I can’t make up my mind on one of these women to interview I think I’d like to invite them all to lunch, or maybe to play a round of golf. I’m sure the conversation that would pass between the three of them would keep me entertained for hours. If I could put in my two MomMe cents in the mix of them and have them not laugh at me I’m sure I’d be able to consider myself a success in life.

Who would you want to interview?

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
