There is nothing you can do to make every moment perfect right?

Lately we’ve been having truck issues. I’m so blessed to have my husband work as a mechanic. Blown fuel pump and AC fixed at cost! Love that he’s got the skills to save us in a crazy moment.

Step 1 in handling situations like this is to stay calm. There is nothing worse than freaking out over something that has gone wrong. Things go wrong. There is nothing you can do to make every moment perfect right?

Step 2 in handling situations is to find someone who knows what they are taking about that can help you fix the problem. If you don’t know how to do something whether its housecleaning or fixing a truck, experts are there for a reason!

Lastly, don’t hesitate to celebrate your wins! Find something to be happy about when something goes wrong! Even if it’s spending an extra four hours with your family instead of doing something you wanted to see or do outside your house…time with them is precious!

I’m Patty Gordon, a 40+ year old school lunch lady married to a crane mechanic. Our days are anything but normal as he works “construction worker hours” and I take care of our two elementary school aged kids, Chihuahua Mr Biggs, Pitbull Cali, and French Bulldog MooMoo. I blogged a few years ago under different names but have landed with the 365MomMe.com name this time around. The term 365MomMe comes from the idea that I’m a mom and I’m me 365 days a year. Kids call me Mommy but I see myself as MomMe.
